If you have been ordered removed and wish to return to Canada at some time for a particular reason. ALWAYS SIGN THE CONFIRMATION OF DEPARTURE FORM, CBSA will give you at the airport or POE.

Failure to sign the confirmation of departure form is so illogical especially if you have a PR or Canadian citizen spouse willing to sponsor you back to Canada.

Signing the form does not mean you agree or disagree with the order but that you actually left.

At any time you decide to cause hassels to CBSA it can really affect your chances of obtaining an (ARC) Authorization to Return to Canada.

Just for the record. When a person departs Canada and transists the United States it is required to clear US customs at the Canadian Airport. At that point you can hand over the form to the CBP officer and he will forward it to CBSA.

If the flight doesn´t go via US, the airline will staple the other half of your ticket to it and forward it to CBSA.
