UnQuote "Public policy allows for a PRRA. If an InLand Spousal is submitted before being called to a PRRA causes removal to be deferred until the InLand Spousal is assessed based on that Public Policy"

Roy,
Agree.. But the her chances are long gone, there is a removal order in place, it is not that she over stayed, she was given a Voluteer Departure Order and she failed to leave the country, ages ago! after 30 days that cute blue form becomes an enforceable deportation order. At this point this lady has one foot on the plane.

The issue here are three:

1- She didn´t leave
2- She failed to appear to an interview
3- There is a deportation order in place

What are her chances of being approved in land?
As you said it....ZERO!

She still thinking that her best choice is to stay in Canada, BAD IDEA! leave, apply for an ARC and submitt your application in FROM ABROAD.

Little Angel

When one blames others for everything going wrong in their lives can mean only one thing that they are not adults. "we were misguided by our lawyers"

You are not talking about one single Lawyer but at least two! Why?

DID YOU NOT RESEARCH THEIR QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE BEFORE HIRING TO INCOMPETENT ADVISORS?

THEN YOU STATE. "my student visa expired on July 3 2008 and I received a letter from the immigration to leave voluntarily in November 2008"

The only way you get a letter telling you to leave voluntary is that you applied to renew or re-enstate your temporary status. KEY WORD TEMPORARY - THEIR IS AN HONOUR SYSTEM WITH ALL TEMPORARY PERMITS THE HOLDER IS EXPECTED TO LEAVE, THAT IS WHY THEY WERE ADMITTED.

WHO HERE CAN IMAGINE THE COST TO THE CANADIAN TAXPAYER IF CIC HAD TO MAIL A LETTER TO EVERY VISITOR, STUDENT OR WORK PERMIT HOLDER REMINDING THEM THAT THEIR TEMPORARY STATUS HAS EXPIRED?????

*****
WHAT ASTOUNDS ME IS THAT DOC´D ACTUALLY SEEMS TO THINK YOUR SCENARIO IS REAL! TOO ENFORCEMENT FOCUSSED!
*****

D.R. You CLAIM you paid a lawyer and that would of cost you between $3,000.00 to $5,000.00 to assist you with an overseas spousal sponsorship not including the cost of the ARC. The ARC from a Lawyer would be another $1,500.00 so $6,500.00!

THE LAWYER MISGUIDED YOU, LOL -- ARC Authorization to Return to Canada (YOU NEVER LEFT).

SHARON I love to bet but the odds of her taking anyones advice is nil. How can you try to trick others with those odds!

THIS IS A BOGUS POST BECAUSE NO ONE CAN BE THAT INNOCENT OR IGNORANT!

Okay lets admit that d.r. can be that innocent or ignorant.

Her husband owns a car so what is his excuse?

Oh Roy,

Don´t be so ignorant.

Students also pay visa fee. Students pay college fee. Students also pay taxes.

Learn to respect others, that´s called civilization.

GERMANY beats GHANA in world cup, but Germans and Ghanaians are carrying their respective flags and hurraying on the streets. No clashes, thats called tolerance.

I hope your mature mind can converge the what I messed up here.

you have no idea what my personal life is like and what sacrifices have been made to live with the challenges and rules of CIC. Unlike you, I played by the rules and have zero sympathy for those who don´t.

Take responsibility for the mess you are in and quit expecting everyone to feel sorry for you. You BOTH messed up. Own it and deal with it.

not sure what Ghana and soccer and tolerance have to do with breaking the law and deportation. There must be a full moon out there or the convergence of pluto and looney tunes.

So what knowledge am I lacking?

What evidence do you have that d.r ever paid any taxes?
What evidence do you have that d.r. ever attended one class?
What evidence do you have that d.r. ever paid any student fees?

Ger if you were a student you should go back to school.

People apply for a Student Visa at a visa post abroad and are admitted as Foreign Students for a temporary period of time!

All Colleges and Universities have a department that all foreign students can access to extend their permits or deal with any issues with authorities that may occur.

d.r still overstayed and blamed two Law Firms for the mess she and her husband are in.

WHY SHOULD I RESPECT SOMONE WHO BLAMES OTHERS FOR THEIR OWN MISTAKES?

d.r. and her husband tried to cheat the system while many other married couples are not together because Immigration Officers had to waste time working on d.r. file.

Great game Germany and Ghana though, gp Ghana!

@ Roy,

I never agreed to d.r. I have nothing to with "her" issue. I took personally when you said the government is so generous to spend 50 cent for the postage to send a letter to the a student but forgot how much a student needs to pay for being a student. Probably you can never imagine, student life is full of misery: you can not get a penny but have to pay everywhere. And if you are a foreign student your problems are 5X more. I don´t need to explain how some countries are living on "education business".

@brian,

I saw only few people with Ghana´s flag among more than 10,000 German supporters. No body harmed, during whole match everyone was free to support any team. In the world cup 2006 when England lost Portugal, I saw the English people beating a bunch of portugese in front of me. Well, that was my experience, I don´t know what happens on Sunday! Let´s see. Its good to know that people in Canada watch football and enjoy it.

@brian,

Ger:
Hard to tell. it quite depends on your background and your expectations. germany´s social system is excellent (starting from health care to unemployment benefits). However, this comes with a huge price tag (higher taxes). In canada the taxes are lower but the benefits are not as good either. I would not say that canada offers the better perspective and future for families. In direct comparison, germany´s economy is much stronger. canada´s prosperity is coming from raw material such as forestry and oil. The latter one is quite limited and not endless and canada´s industry is lacking far behind including low productivity which is far below other G8 countries. In addition, canada’s industry is by far not as international as you might think. most business is local and trade is focusing on the US only (US makes approx. 80% of import/export). The living standard is quite similar as in Germany, so is the salary structure. (people like Jay will still disagree – however, I still dont understand how someone can earn a salary which is 1/3 of minimum income or 1/2 of welfare and claim he’s understood the system???)

Canada is a great place – no doubt. People in some metro areas such as Toronto are very international and you’d live in a very multicultural environment. So if you belong to a visible minority you might consider moving here. If you love nature and/or the sea and plan to settle in Canada’s country side for this reason, you should go for it as well. If you plan to come to Canada to live a similar live as in germany, I’d strongly recommend to think twice. Personally I think it’s not worth the hassle you’ll go through because in most cases it probably will take you years to get to a similar income as you had in germany. My simple formular: The more you give up in germany, the more you will regret your decision.
I hope this helps....

good luck!

Before people start asking why I don’t go back to germany. It’s quite simple: It’s not my decision only…
