Subject: need help
  Hi,
I think I ve a problem regarding my application , I did submit my paper 2 years ago from inside canada, every thing was ok , they sent to ask about the security check in my country of origin , and from what I got that they may lost my paper there , so now they r keeping asking my country for a second time to follow up and no answer from their side. I m so depressed i dont know what to do , is it eligible to apply for the second time ? however the first time was my husband the main applicant.
thanks

your explanation is not clear. when you say application what do you mean? Ex.Refugee status... when you say security check do you mean your criminal record?? If they lost your fingerprints you can get help from your consulate of your country in canada, callt hem and they may help you. You need to explain more if you want help. I really didn´t understand. And in the end you said that in the first application yuour husband was the main applicant, now he´s not? Did you open a new aplication?
Also, are you in canada?

Rose, not quite sure what do you expect for an answer. If the criminal background check is missing, you simply go to the CIC website, where your country should be listed with a contact where to obtain the document:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

if you live abroad you also might get in contact with your embassy. CIC usually does not request this document from the instituion for you, instead the applicant is supposed to provide the document.
in addition, keep in mind that this document is not valid forever. If you did submit it 2 years ago CIC might ask for an update anyway.

If you have already submitted an application, you should have figured out your points requirements already. If you have not, you are out of luck as Accounting is no longer on the list of in-demand occupations for the Federal Skilled Worker program as of June 26, 2010.
