This is some information for women who want to extend their work permit, for which they need a medical exam, while being pregnant.
one of the requirements is a chest X-ray. Although it is safe to do it in pregnancy, radiologists in Canada are not allowed to do it for immigration purposes. So your papers for a (new) work permit will not be sent (by the doctor) untill after delivery! Meaning: you don´t get a new work permit when you are pregnant!
