OLA Quebec is a relocation agency located in Quebec, Canada, that was founded by two landed immigrants (one from France and one from Brasil) just like you. We understand your needs and expectations, and that is why you can count on us.

Our 3 main services for immigrants, expatriates, temporary workers, investors or international students that will be soon arriving in Quebec are:

- housing: we have apartments for long and shorter term rentals in great locations, close to public transportation, school, hospital, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and everything you need to live comfortably

- studies: we can take care of your registration and everything else related to your studies before you arrival

- CV and cover letter writing: we can write you a CV and a cover letter, in French or English, according to the standards of Quebec

Housing in Montreal (in reply to: Housing in Montreal for newcomers)
Hello,

My name is Ana Valean and together with my husband and my 6 months old son we will arrive in Montreal at the end of august. We will need, off course, a place to stay. E were thinking that for the beginning a 3,1/2 would be enough for us. Also considering that we won´t have a car in the first few weeks the apartment has to be in a safe area, close to transportation and also close to "garderie" because we will try to find a place in a" garderie" for our son!

Also, please let us know how you can help us with this and if there is any fee we have to pay in case you help us finding a place to stay.

Thanks and best regards,

AnA VAlean

Lodging for Quebec newcomers in Montreal (in reply to: Housing in Montreal for newcomers)
There are many options I would suggest, but none of them should include signing a contract for a whole year without getting to know the city first. (That is my opinion) why get stuck in a place when you can find another one more suitable for your lifestyle.
I wrote a blog post about this topic here http://www.montrealreception.com/apartments-immigrants-newcomers-montreal-quebec/
