| Subject: student visa and pr at the same time |

i am a dentist from india and married. i am in a very confused situation as dentists were not included earlier in the demand list so i decided to apply for my student visa for a course holistic practioner (not so relevant with dentistry) ..and only when every thing was ready a new list was introduced in which dentists are included..i satisfy the criteria of 67 points,so also eligible for the pr case..now i m very confused wat to do..i m applying for my pr case for sure but i also wanna apply for my student visa..is that possible..if yes hw shud i proceed??or would it complicate both my student and pr case..i wud be very thankful if someone cud get me out of this tough situation:)

1- First thing you should do is to take an english course.
2- You may apply for a student visa while your PR is in process, however you are going to have to demostrate that you are going to leave Canada at the end of your permit and having a PR in process may complicate your application for a student visa.
Getting the visa it will depend on how strong your ties are to your home country.

thank u so much for replying..i have taken my ielts and scored 7.5 bands..so what should i do ..i mean shud i apply my student visa before my pr case or shud i drop the idea of student visa..and does the refusal for student visa affect the pr case?
