HI ALL,
MY WIFE´S SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION IS IN PROCESS AT NEW DELHI. THEY STARTED PROCESSING HER APPLICATION ON 31ST MAY, 2010. HOW LONG IT MIGHT TAKE FOR HER VISAS TO BE GRANTED??
IS IT ADVISABLE TO APPLY FOR VISIT VISA SIMANLATNEOUSLY WHEN HER IMMIGRATION FILE IS ALREADY IN PROCESS?? KINDLY ADVISE ON THIS.

According to the CIC site, processing times for the New Delhi office are 2-6 months: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp
Yes - you can apply for a visitors visa while the application is in progress. There´s absolutely no guarantee it will be granted (in fact, it will likely be refused given that a PR application is underway). However applying for the visa will in no way affect the PR application.

hope tht all r fine n good,plz plz guide me ......
my husband applied for my spouse immigration from canada in march-2010,my case forwarded to pakistan visa office i.e:islamabad in april-2010 and in june -2010 some additional pics,original marriage certificate and proof of contact we have submitted,but till now i haven´t received any kind of update.....
plz plz guide me where my case is processed? is in islamabad or london??
and how much time be taken?

Please remember that processing times you mention are added on to the time it takes for approval of the sponsor. If they are asking for additional information, the wait is longer. (for .37.19.134). The time range they give is average - it is not a guarantee.
For Avnish, I would not waste any money on the visitors visa - they will say no and tell you to wait for her visa. They do not want to risk her staying in Canada if her sponsorship application is denied. How long will it take? Again, how well was your file prepared, how many countries has she lived in, the better prepared the file is... the faster it goes. When were you given first stage approval?

I sponsored my wife back in april 2010 in canada

My husband apply for me in July´11. And according to the system i have to wait (2year approximate) for proessing. In this time may I take admission in any university & apply for any student visa in canda?
