| Subject: Urgent advice |
Hi, Am Rahul and am citizen of Canada. I got married last year in Pakistan and I applied for my wife PR. Unfortunately I found out that she is very childish, stubborn and immature and it´s not wise to bring her in Canada at this moment of time. How can I stop her PR Process? Please advise.

Hi Rahul,
Contact the CIC office where you have submitted the application for sponsorship of your wife and tell them that you are terminating the sponsorship agreement and are not going to sponsor your wife. Answer the questions, they will ask you. That´s it.

i have been asked to submitt police certifcate, medical results, right of permenant resident fee, bank statement i have submiitted on 25 mar 2010 all above , recently i got email from embassy that they are awaitng the background check results and they will contact me once they will get the results i didnt understand where i am standing ? shall i think my case is approved only background check is the step balance and normally how long it takes from them to get this result ?

i have applied for immigration to canada on Oct 2007 as skilled worker program, In Mar 2010, i have been asked to submitt police certifcate, medical results, right of permenant resident fee, bank statement i have submiitted on 25 mar 2010 all above , recently i got email from embassy that they are awaitng the background check results and they will contact me once they will get the results i didnt understand where i am standing ? shall i think my case is approved only background check is the step balance and normally how long it takes from them to get this result ?
