I´m being sponsored by my Canadian girlfriend/common law partner but we don´t know how to fill the form out.
She´s the declarant?
I´m the partner?
Then it asks town/country of? Is that hers or mine (I´m English)? Is it not applicable if she´s Canadian?

(in reply to: IMM 5409 Declaration of Common Law) Can´t say - please ref. the accompanying details. Usually CIC has good details on how to fill out forms. You should be able to fill these out easily by reading the details.

(in reply to: IMM 5409 Declaration of Common Law) Don´t say RTFM if you have not looked at the manual yourself. In this case the CIC instructions are useless. In fact most of the time the instructions are inadequate.
I am trying to find out the answer to this myself and all I find is an answer saying look at the (useless) CIC instructions.
