Subject: Extension of intial 3 years Permanent residency |

Hello,
hi i am on tier-1 General Visa in UK which was granted to me this year in Feb.2010.In submitted my documents for canadaim immigration in nov.2009 under the rubric of federal skilled worker.Recently i am asked to submitt medical+ permanent residency fee.I would appreciate if someone can help me with following questions:
Q-1 How many days one must stay in canada within intial 3 years grant of permanent residency visa ?
Q-2 How many days one must reside in Canada within intial 3years to apply for canadain passport?
Q-3 If someone can´t abide the rule of staying there for the asked number of days within intial 3 years does he/she get an extention and how long extension he/she will get for ?

(in reply to: Extension of intial 3 years Permanent residency) Q1 - it is 730 days out of 5 years. (not 3)
Q2 - you can apply for citizenship after residing 3 years out of 4.
Q4- What sort of extension are talking about. if you arrive at the port of entry and have not fulfilled your residency requirements, CIC will come and find you and revoke your PR. And there is no point in trying to lie about it.
Did you make any attempt to find answers to these questions first? I googled #2 to be sure and had an answer from the CIC website in about 3 seconds.

First of all many thanks for help.
with regards to extension i mentioned in Q-3 i meant renwal of PR card.So what i gathered from your reply is that if some one fails to meet residency requirment i.e 730 days in 5 year his PR will be revoked?
