Subject: Canada address while landing |
I heared Canada immigration will require a Canada address at the time of landing.
I don´t have a address in Canada (no friends or relatives). May I use a mailbox address which I can set up ahead of time?

HI (in reply to: Canada address while landing) No You can´t. You must provide them with an address, other wise you can skip that and next time when you return Canada, you can get to the Cnadian embassy in your country and ask for a travel document to allow you re-enter Canada. I think it may cost you 50 CDN.
good luck

(in reply to: Canada address while landing) You can give an address where you will stay first, like hostel, hotel whatever, and then inform them about your permanent address when you have one. There is a time limit for this, so they can send your PR card.(I can not remember how long you have, but you should find it at CIC web site)
