Hello everyone. I am a canadain citizen. I married my guy in pakistan on June 8, 2010. I am now trying to fill out the forms to sponsor him here. I have a few questions. The forms ask for his employment back ground, his addresses since he was 18 and his schools. He has lived in boarding houses and some of those addresses have now closed down. Also one of his primary schools is closed down. If we give these addresses and they can not be verified we are worried that it will lok like we have lied on our application. How should we handle this?
Another thing is that I have read that spouses are exempt from the minimum income requirments on a spousal application. So why do they still require the sponsor to submit recent copy of their notice of assessment from canda revenue?
His family basically disowned him when they were told of our relationship a few years back. Thats partly the reason for all the differnt addresses. His parents are both dead and he was raised by his brothers. The forms ask for information on his brothers and sisters. We can give the permanent address of the family but this may not be their current address as we have lost touch with them due to the disapproval of our relationship. Alos if we mention his sisters, they will not be verified because the were never registered. Its only required if they will be travelling out of the country and so the family just never did this for the sisters. So how should we deal with this problem because it will again look like we have given false information?
I am also being told that the islamabad office is procesing 80% of their cases to finalization in 14 months. This is also posted on the CIC website. Yet I am hearing from people that their application is taking years. How accurate is the CIC postings on processing times? What should I expect,the 14 months or the years?

Schedule one ask questions and your job is to READ the question.
Addresses since his 18th birthday and personal history is 10 years since the age of eighteen.
They are not looking for primary school addresses.
Put down the information as you know it. List the additional family members as you know it.

Lying on the application and giving false information.
Fill them out to your best knowledge.
Make some phone calls, google, and look up for closed school and forgotten addresses. Contact your old friends and relatives.
Make a blue print and a nice transparent personal history so that the Department of Citizenship and Immigration will be satisfied.
