HI,
Im an intra company transferee, working here for almost 2 years. I have a job opening with one of the company here locally and they are willing to hire me for a permanant job. Can someone please let me know if I can get my work permit changed to the company which is offering me the job now?
Any info on this would be of a great help to me.
Thank you in advance.

(in reply to: Workpermit - intra company transfer - changes) Regulation 11 (2) requires all persons to apply outside of Canada unless they were legally admitted for one year and still reside here.
You have two options you can apply for arranged employment if your occupation is not on the Ministerial Instruction list then apply for permanent residence through Sydney Nova Scotia CIO Central Intake Office.
Or
Have the employer seek out a Labour Market Opinion and apply for a work permit after taking your IELTS Exam.
