Subject: Citizenship Question
We are Permanent residents since 2 years. Last year we were out of Canada and upon our return the Immigration officer did not stamp the arrival dates in Canada on our passports which surprised me but I thought maybe the rules have changed. But this year when we went out of Canada and upon our return the immigration officer did stamp the date of arrival in our passports. Now I am worried that at the time of Citizenship, as the arrival date was not stamped how will the number of days spent in Canada be calculated and there will be a discrepancy in the number of days spent in Canada. Is there any way this could be rectified ?

Look for departure stamps or arrival stamp in the other countries.

And write the date of arrival to your best of knowledge.
