I filed my last returns in the year 2006, then I left canada with no valid health card, driving license, property, car. Just a bank account with couple of hundred dollars in it. I visited canada with my wife and kids in the year 2007 but my family is not candadian or PR they always lived outside canada and they came here on a visitor visa.
Now I came back, alone for now, and want to sponsor my family.
Questions:
1) Can I simply sponsor my wife for PR as I had no income since 3-4 years and hence no tax filing and no option C. Do I need to have a reasonable job before I apply for her?
2) For kids I know I can directly claim their citizenship status.
Any other precautions do i need to take while applying for her PR?
