  Roy and all experts

On 2008, I entered Canada using a fake passport. I had no other options. I married to my Cnd wife on 2009. She is pregnant now (30 weeks gestation). This year, and upon my request, my family back home sent me my real passport and all relevant Ids. My wife is preparing for my sponsorship right now. I have had no criminal records in both Canada and US (from there I came to Canada). What is the best way forward? Please do not be judgmental. There are circumstances that force some people to risk their life. Young Africans and young N Africans drown in the Ocean and Sea every week or month before they reach Europe shores.
I need your urgent advice please. I want to live with my loving wife and my baby.
Thanks

first question to answer (not to us, but to CIC) is how are you going to prove you have not used your Canadian wife to obtain legal status in Canada? Having a child together is not sufficient proof of a legitimate relationship.

I try really hard not to pass judgement on what people do around here but to be blunt - my significant other came from exactly the same part of the world you have... he came legally, waited his turn, jumped through all the hoops etc. so pleeeeaaaase don´t tell me (or him for that matter) you had no other options. It makes me want to say really bad words.

Please, and plz do NOT say bad words. It is a long story. My marriage is happy and surrounded by love. I have summarized my story and am asking "what is the best way forward". We will be able to support with documents our relationship and solid marriage. I couldn´t tell exactly what you meant by (significant other)!! Did you mean you husband or boyfriend or lover??? May be he is lucky to have YOU as I am soooo lucky to have my lovely wife. When I arrived here I considered myself as those Europeans who came from far away to take the land of first nation and inuits.
The question again:" what do you suggest as the best successful way to start with?". Leave other consequences for me to deal with.

you better wait for Roy but my guess is he will recommend an outland application so there is room for an appeal.

How will I fill the gap? I mean can I just go home, apply outland and disregard or ignore the story of my false ID? There is no proof that I held that fake passport.

You didn´t answer me: is your other half immigrant too? he must be lucky.

I have discussed my personal life far more than my good sense tells me to do.

applying outland does not necessarily involve leaving the country. However, you will have to provide police clearances for every country you have lived in for more than 6 months - legal or otherwise.

The the truth is always better than trying to keep a lie together.

I would start gathering your documents and see what Roy has to say from there.

So you either walked across the border or swam or rode in the back of a truck to get ioto Canada.

If your prints were never taken and you did not use that passport then apply either in Canada or abroad and prove your genuine relationship.

If you made a refugee claim under Mr. _______ your prints were taken so now when your in a genuine relationship you will be totally out of luck for lieing.

Anonymous 166.14.237 What Lamont did not find help here? Do you need to direct people to your forum for better advice, lol.

Lamont claims he entered Canada with a fraudulent passport. Did he actually present it?

Sharon was not happy that he entered her country (Canada) by fraudulent means which showed his character. He implied he was from North Africa which means he probably entered other countries by fraudulent means as well. Now Lamont claims he is married with a child so if he lied a few times Sharon thinks that he would have to convince CIC that he is not using his current wife and baby to gain status in Canada.

That is logical to most but not you?

The issue was should he submit within Canada or abroad a spousal sponsorship.

Lamont then came back and said there is no proof that he held a fake passport.

Sharon then replied regardless you will have to provide police clearances for all countries you have resided in, legal or otherwise.

When I write if you made a Refugee claim your prints were taken and Lamont who was replying within hours goes totally silent. WHY?

Remember those north Africans risking their lives to get to Europe???? The odds are Lamont made a Refugee claim under his bogus name and had his prints taken here or elsewhere. He realized his future with his genuine marriage to his wife and child just got flushed down the toilet.

Then Anonymous 166.14.237 you recommend he go to another forum to ask the same question again, LOL Do you really think he has not already done that?

Certain people who lie and cheat are beyond help! Beyond help with the assistance of any authorized representative.

Prints for some reason just do not lie!

Hi Roy,

Lamont has gone silent because he has come over and joined the other forum - and is actively posting and reading old threads there.

He has been kind enough to share much more of his story with us. I too was judgemental of Lamont when I first read his question. However now that I know more about his background - my opinion has changed. I´m not saying what he did was right (it certainly wasn´t). But I´m not sure I would have done any differently in his position.

Needless to say, he will face a huge uphill battle in his attempt to legalize his status here. However given his story - he might qualify for H&C or something "might" being the key word).

I advise anyone READING any of the forums that unless the poster is a consultant (read registered and active) then take what you read on other forums with a grain of salt.
I can point out an active ´moderator/poster´ on other forums doling out advice daily YET has been denied, appealed, waiting again to see if denied due to their OWN ignorance of the full process and what will trigger a denial.
You act on an armchair consultant´s advice at your own peril.

Nothing worse than a bunch of people with only their own experience posting what you should do.

At least Roy is honest in his answers. No one can doubt that.

No I did not use Roy I used someone else.
No I am not part of the site.
Yes I can not stand armchair consultants/busy bodies who think they know more than the professionals and in the case of some posters here... Actual employees.

I checked the forums out. I have found answers that were right and I have found answers that will IMO sink the application.

What do I know about that??????

8 years out of status after having an entry record originally due to being in country for 2 years and leaving and coming back immediately due to sept 11th... No Current ID ... Child that could not get medicals done for.... wife a student in school... yet managed to get an american passport in Vancouver and NO interview doing outland via Buffalo.

Guess those consultants know a few things. If I tried to do it on my own I have no doubt I would have made a mistake and been denied. I have to redo the papers 5 times to get every t crossed and i dotted to my consultant´s satisfaction.
