Subject: hello everyone, A couple of days ago I recei...
  hello everyone,
A couple of days ago I received my interview date. Among other things, the consulate wants us to get police clearance and medical examination. My question is: Can I download (and if yes, where) the form for the fingerprint card before going to our local police station in detroit or do I need to ask for one in writing from FBI?
thanks

Lila, I don´t think that you can download fingerprint card. Some police station has fingerprint card or you can write FBI to send you the card or go to authorized fingerprint place (search your local yellow page.

Please Please send your time line.
Thanks,

here is my timeline:
July 15, 2003 send application
August 26, 2003 received AOR
June 2004 received IA with notification of interview needed and file transfer to detroit (by the way, my medical forms were included as well)
September 2004 received confirmation of file transfer to detroit
January 27, 2005 received interview date (March 30, 2005).

how do I find out on which police station has fingerprint cards?

Just call your local police station.
If they don´t have the finger print, find out commercial fingerprit agent, you can find this type of agent from your local yellow page, search by "fingerprint" or "immigration photo".
where do you live ? I´ll try for you.

Good luck.

U can download FBI fingerprint Card from Internet. Follow this link http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/PDF/fpcardb.pdf
Print it in colour on a thick paper. FBI fingerprint cards are also available in DMV office.
