I have friends who live outside of canada they have a young child born in canada. the child needs special care not available in their
country. can they get citizenship so as to care for their child in canada. they have been coming to canada for several years for treatments, but full time treatment are needed.

The parents of a Canadian citizen may need a temporary resident visa to enter and stay with their child.
If they want to immigrate to Canada as Permanent Resident, they must apply for a PR visa outside Canada.
