Your husband will first have to become a permanent resident (PR). Once he has become a PR, he can apply for citizenship once he has met the citizenship criteria (living in Canada three out of four years).
You can sponsor him as a spouse for permanent residency. The details are here:

Hi, I made an error with my last question. sorry. My husband lives in trinida and i live in canada. I am canadian. What is the best way to get him into Canada.
Should he apply from trinidad or come to Canada as a visitor and then apply from canada. Also, If he applies
from trinidad can he come to canada to visit while he is
waiting for a response.

You may sponsor him even if you are in Canada and he is in Trinidad.
