Looks like you are done with Canada. But time is like an ocean for people of third world countries so you might as well wait for 5 years and try your luck again. And keep doing it till you succeed. When success does happen, you might brag about how long and what patience it took to get to the Promised Land. But then they might say you are old and your skills are too dead to be of any use... So you may have to go back to school to acquire Canadian experience... Flunk a bunch of courses a bunch of times and realise that time had no value to you but you don´t have much of it left in the damn world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What constructive replies!! I think not.

I was in the same situation as you, but I didn´t get to the stage of an interview I fell into the gap when the points limit was adjusted from 70 to 75 and I got 73.

What I would suggest so go back and re-assess your application form and see where you can obtain the extra points from. I, for instance, learnt french which gave me additional points.

It does seem however, that unfortunately you will have to put in a new application and start from the beginning. There doesn´t seem to be a fast-track for people who re-apply.

There is no time limit. You can re-apply again as soon as you have increased your points. If you have enough funds I would recommend Canadian education, so that you get more points in adaptability as well. And now you are allowed to work two years after your graduation in the field. That way you can apply while in Canada.
