| Subject: Canadian moving back to Canada with US husband |

I am a Canadian with permanent resident status in the US. My husband is American. We have a 7 month old born in the US. We wish to relocate to Canada. I have enrolled in College in Canada. Can I move to Canada with my husband and child so I can start classes and then apply for permanent residency for them?

you can try but they may not allow your husband across the boarder because he is technically not simply coming for a visit.
If you are a Canadian citizen, you can start an out of Canada sponsorship application from the US. It will take 5-6 months to complete. Inland applications take 3 times that long.
