| Subject: What immigration application for Canada? |

Hey there,
right where to start.
I was born in the UK, but have dual nationality with canada, so I cna just go live there when ever I want.
However my Fiance is just British, but we both want to move there within the next year, at least for a year, and then if he falls in love with Canada as I hope he will we want to live there permantly.
Trouble is I don´t know what he should apply for!
He is a skilled worker, as a welder with a 4 year apprenticeship, so should we go down that road?
Or a temporary work visa for a year?
Or should I sponser him? if so do we have to be married, as thats on our list of to do´s anyway?
I have family out there too so does that help his case?
he obv can speak fluent English, and a bit of basic French, so with all these points should he go the whole hog and apply for permanent residency straight away?
Any help would be great, we are really looking for the quickest cheapist and easiest way to get him there :)

sponsorship would not be an option unless you can verify your intention to move to Canada permanently. As you are born in the UK and currently live there, that may be a tough sell.
I would suggest, if he qualifies, that he applies on his own merits for a work permit (temporary and requires a job offer) or a skilled worker application which would take about a year and should he decide he does not like it, you are not financially obligated and there is no questions about your long term intent regarding settlement.
