Hello everybody,
I´m a student from Mexico city, but i dont have a student visa, they give me SX-1 visa (for study less than 3 months) i want to get a student visa i´m already in Canada, Toronto, and i want to apply for the student visa from here, i have the acceptance letter from a ELS school for 6 months, is it possible to change my visa for a student visa from here? Thanks a lot

Hi Lizbeth,
You can not extend a SX-1 visa, that is a student visa for less than 6 months. It is more like a visitor visa, if you want to extend you need to apply to a visitor visa.
If you want to apply to a student visa you MUST leave Canada. Good luck

I have a SX-1 visa valid until 2018.
What is the validity year indicate if this visa is just for less than 6 month stay?
I left Canada and I want to return back.
Can I re-enter to Canada with this visa again?
