Subject: Refusal under Sub section 9(3) and 19(2)
  Hi All,

Back in 1997 I have applied for Canadian immigration and right before filing my application I got laid off from the job so I submitted the fake employment letter which later got verified and turned out to be fake.

So got a refusal letter from Canadian High Commission in which they refused me according with this paragraph.

"Unfortunately, you are unable to comply with the requirements of section 9(3) because you have not establish with satisfaction that you have worked as a "Computer Programmer". Our verifications with your claimed employer have failed to confirm that you indeed worked with them during the stated period"

19(2) state that "No immigrant and, except as provided in sub-section(3) no visitor shall be granted admission if the immigrant or visitor is a member of the class 9(3).

Now I regret on my such a shameful act and want to apply again with honesty..learned my lesson offcourse...this time my sister from Alberta is going to sponsor me for immigration in family category ..do u guys think that my past can affect me cause in the application form i had to tell them that ive applied in 1997 with refusal reason.

How should i proceed..please help.

Thanks

The Alberta family stream category has been cancelled, your sister cannot sponsor you anymore.

Thank you for the news I didn´t know that. Well what are the chances if I will apply again through skilled worker class? I have Computer Science Degree and 10 years valid experience? Keeping this in mind that I got only refused and no ban.

How should I proceed. please advise I would appreciate.

the computer science degree is not on the list... so the chances of acceptance are zero or close to it.

A job offer is the best shot you have.

there is nothing you can do to fix it, just make sure you are 100% accurate with the next application and be ready to prove everything. CIC never forgets.

Sharon, Thank you for your valuable feedback I know that its information technology era where information retrieval is just a click away :)

I will be accurate and honest from top to toe next time. I´ve learned from my mistake anyway.
