I was single when I applied for my employment here in canada 3 years ago. When my employer renewed me the first time he applied my work permit as single on the application. When I got renewed the second time they applied me using my married last name. Service canada had sent a letter that says my name on it *******(formely known as *******). so in other words Service canada was informed about my marriage. Now I got my passport renewed from the philippines with my married name and my status as being married. And this year I am planning to process my PR.
* the philippine embassy knows my status as married
*service canada knows about my marital status.
what should I do.?
and also, my spouse and I have agreed to go on with the application for PR without him. I am aware of the consequences when I sign the NOTARIZED STATUTORY DECLARATION form.I will claim him as my husband in the FAMILY MEMBER part of the application.now the question is:
Does HE have to fill up the SCHEDULE 1 BACKGROUND DECLARATION FORM?
What documents should I include in my application about him?
