| Subject: How much time to do medicals?? |

Received medical forms from Buffalo and instruction on attached letter says "proceed with medical examinations within 60 days." The letter is dated January 13, 2005 and did not get delivered to me until January 27. Anyway, my question is do they need to receive the medical results within 60 days? Or do I have until March 13 to do the medicals?

Sorry if this sounds silly but I was told by the designated clinic that it takes them 2-3 weeks to forward the medicals to Ottawa. My question is it ok to have my medicals, say, Feb 26 when considering 2-3 weeks from Feb 26 will be past due the March 13 deadline? Or is it fine as long as I do my medicals before March 13?

That is fine.
Write down any explanation why the delay may occur. In my case all family members could not take medicals together - so whoever could and wherever it was best possible did. I just wrote a letter to CIC to explain why and did not seem to have any problems with it.
However; unless you have a compelling reason to delay my advise is not. However in your situation a delay due to dispatch is OK. If you have gone over and beyond due dates CIC will write back themselves to ask why you have not submitted.
