Yes,I am back Sharon and Roy still going through the mental torture of being rejected my the Medical system of Canada.I haven´t stopped for a single day in trying to enter into the system in ANY form but I am still not successful.The biggest blow that I have got is from one Medical College of a Province which after taking hundreds of dollars from me to tell me the reson why they cannot issue me a restricted liscence to work in any (rural area) has finally told me that inspite of working as a physician for 16 years,they still consider me being jobless for the past 10 years as the work that I have been doing is ´not´ upto the Canadian standards.I am in a state of shock actually because I have been working in one of the best hospitals of the country and it uses almost all the latest tecnologies and techniques and yet when I am ready to go ANYWHERE in Canada and serve the people there to the best of my ability,I am told that they do not even consider me working in my field for the past 10 years.First,I thought there must have been a misunderstanding and that is why they have said this but when I contacted the College they said no this is the actual reson why I cannot work in that Province.I really am in a state of shock as to what actually are the canadian standards for alllll those people living in the rural areas who do not even have a single clinic in their town and have to travel for an hour or so to the big city to visit a doctor when their own CANADIAN BORN DOCTORS clearly do not want to practice there and when we offer our services to go and live in those remote areas and serve those people,they still prefer to reject us.I even requested them to atleast consider me for a few months of training so that I can learn how the system works there and will be able to work their way BUT no that is not possible too as even after passing the Canadian exam I am still not considered a doctor!!!!Bravo

this is one of those horrible situations where the College of Physicians is holding the Government of Canada by the short and curlies. Canada needs doctors and the damn College is playing God.

For an educated person, your writing is very poor! You can not articulate information. The rural folks may not have easy access to medicine men but it certainly does not warrant sending there an ill-educated weak medical person, who might effectively kill those folks. Now at least they can go to competent doctors in the cities or wherever. Having an incompetent doctors gives the false impression that they have access to medical personnel, whereas the said medicine man may very well be a murderer due to his ill-education! I suggest that you seriously focus on re-training yourself without reservation or complaint and meet the rigors of the College of Physicians. While you are at it, improve your writing skills. You can´t even become a medical correspondent with that kind of writing skills. Good luck.

Exactly the kind of people that I cannot stand.You don´t even have the guts to show your full name my dear so,shut the hell up please.Who gave you the right to write such stupid stuff when actually if you can read the post IN ENGLISH MR PHD IT IS CLEARLY FOR SHARON AND ROY as they have always been kind enough to answer my questions with respect,dignity and infact they always have something informative to tell us.If I am not wrong there was another guy with the name HATER and in my last post he wrote some stuff exactly the way that you have written and I really feel bad for people like you MR ILLEGAL.
Atleast if you do not have a heart with emotion or feeling DO NOT JUDGE OTHERS BECAUSE YOU ARE NO GOD AND I NEVER GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO JUDGE MY WRITING SKILLS OR MY PROFFESSIONALISM.
I am a doctor and I absolutely love my profession and I love to save people and the ´thankyou´ that I get from my patients after saving their lives is the biggest reward in the whole world.So,MR ILLEGAL OR MR HATER PLEASE DON´T FEEL GREAT AFTER INSULTING OTHERS trust me it´s not worth it and I have already passed the Canadian Medical Exams so that tells in itself if I am worth the Canadian Medical System or not!!
MR ILLEGAL,my proplem is that Canada gave me the immigration ACCEPTING ME AS A DOCTOR and I want to stay in my profession for the rest of my life.I feel bad that when Canada has people like Sharon and Roy who ACTUALLY help people with their valuable suggestions it also has some arrogant,extremely rude and stiff neck people like you who somehow come to this forum to insult others and humiliate them and I guess it brings some kind of a pleasure to you and that hater guy.I really don´t need your good luck keep it for your own self in becoming a better and kind humanbeing.And try to help others rather than insulting them.GOOD LUCK TO YOU WITH THAT!!!!!
And for you Sharon,Thankyou so much for the quick reply as always and I know one thing,whenever the times comes and I make it there,you are one person I will make sure to thank.You are a very nice humanbeing always trying to help those in need to the best of your ability.I just wanted to share the latest happenings in my life with you.Never wanted a silly guy to enter my post and write such horrific things for me.May God always bless you Sharon and may you keep helping the people the way you do always.

I closed my laptop and tried going to sleep but this illegal guy has been soooo cruel in his post that I actually ended up being awake and I kept thinking to my self how can anyone call a person trying his level best to enter a system and work very hard and be a successful doctor one day for his kids and see them being brought up in such a beautiful country,away from their own home which is sadly being bombed every single day,A DOCTOR WHO IS LIKE THOSE DOCTORS WHO END UP KILLING THEIR PATIENTS.
Sometimes in life some specific people turn up and say somethings so devastating that stay with you forever like a bad memory.I can just pray that people like ILLEGAL become better humanbeings and start respecting others in this world rather than thinking of ´themselves´ as one step above or one step superior CLEARLY their arrogant attitude is giving them some kind of an ego boost by humiliating others.
I just wrote a post for Sharon and Roy and ended up listening to the most rudest and cruel remarks made personally to me from someone who has no idea as to who I am,where I come from and will hopefully never ever meet me in my life YET he tried his level best to turn up in my post with his cruel tongue and just insult me and after finishing writing the post he must have felt great about himself as he knows he is a PHD IN ENGLISH and that is all what it takes to save a mans life suffering from a heart attack,fever or an accident,NOT THE MEDICINE.
I never ever claimed in my post that I am proud of my english or my writing skills.It´s not my first language and I have passed TOEFL with a great score but the thing that makes me sick to my stomach is that the reson why there is so much hate in this world is because of people like ILLEGAL who feel it´s their born right to judge every single person on the face of this earth and then insult them and make people so ashamed of themselves that they stop going ahead in their lives.
I just pray and wish that this ILLEGAL guy never insults or humiliates anyone ever again,the way he tried to insult me.

Don´t let this "illegal" guy bother you. This was the same individual who asked in a previous post how to legalize his current status.
There are tons of people like that in these forums. Use one of these and call me in the morning.

there´ve been quite a lot dcos from around the globe who were in a similar situation. many of them went back to school and finally made it. so I dont really understand the issue here. if you´re already passed the med exams and are not allowed to practise, there´s something else missing before you can start working. why don´t you just fullfill the requirements?

"Illegal" needs some remediation with regards to his/her language skills. Should not "ill education" be "lack of education" or was he/she just maintaining the medical theme of the post? "...with that kind of writing skills" ..hmmm. does he/she not mean "those kinds of writing skills"? Pleaseeeee "illegal" do not refer to us as "rural folks," it is so trite and somewhat condescending. By the way, have you examined my Canadian colleagues´ penmanship of late? Most write in a form of script that would make an ancient Egyptian scratch his head. Perhaps the good doctor has some difficulty with the language, but I bet he can tell you how to perform a percutaneous arterial catheterization. Do not give up your quest DOCTOR! And most certainly do not take heed of those who find fault.

This reply goes out to DOCTOR. I share your pain. My husband is a foreign trained doctor and had been jumping through hoops for 3 years now. This country is full of ignorant people like ILLEGAL and that is the problem. Don´t give up. You will prevail. My husband has been thinking of going home because of it all. I am white and Canadian born. I had no idea what went on until I stood beside my husband and saw it for myself. May God bless you greatly. Keep the faith.
