I suggest you guys an easy place to land and for fun to go if you guys wanna landed to Canada.
By the way, you have to live in the west coast, Like me, Nanaimo, or any lower Mainland residents can choice this way.
I am not sure if you guys actually noticed that in the south of Tsawwassen. You drive from HWY 99 to HWY 17 the way to B.C ferry, but turn left when you see the road called? Point Roberts Road?. And you drive all thru south let?s say 5---8 blocks.
And there actually is a piece of land, which about several hundred acres belongs to The United States of America. There does have Customers stuff over there.
What happened is about two weeks ago, I mistakenly drove to there, and actually I drove out of Canada to Point Roberts Washington. After I past Canadian customer office, I didn?t see the U.S customer side until let?s say 2 blocks away. I don?t have U.S visa, have to drive back.
However, at that time, I don?t have passport.
Well, It?s Canada, who cares; they let me in, after they check my car and driver license.
And told me actually we have to bring passport next time. We actually chat like 10 min talking about fishing in White Rock; can you believe that?s CIC office and Custom office? And talking about Nanaimo, Island, fishing those shit with them, maybe they are too bored.
That?s the best spot for your first time land to Canada, no lineup, and quite, friendly staffs.
I swear if I do land in Canada, I gonna go there again, and spent half days traveling around White Rock. I guess seldom people even know there is a custom office between Tsawwassen and Points Roberts, funny~~~~~~~~~~~

Mannn! That story is a good incentive to check my e-client 20 more times tonight! That´s the best port of entry!!! Since I will be happy I will bring a keg of beer to get those officers from the Border Patrol Agency as drunk as hell!!!

Hey dude, you should check out where is Point Roberts Washington, it´s an isolate land, which is connect, with Lower Mainland.
Come on, including, municipal water system and hydro, everything is provided by Delta B.C. However, you are right, actually I went into U.S without proper document. But who cares? Come on, don?t be stupid, it?s just a town has no more than 200 population. Do you think terrorist gonna ship dirty boom to there?

You know what? Since it´s our taxpayer´s money to support Custom and CIC port of entry, we need use resource fairly. If we don´t use that port of entry, they are kind of bored each day to check only about several people´s identification.
Hey guys, if we have similar timeline landed, why don´t we land it together over there, we can share a van. And BBQ over whiterock.

Yijie: why you are always talking about traveling and playing, jokes, Averil Lavgine stuff. You should consider other´s feeling, be serious please. CIC is a serious topic.
There are people like us are so frustrating with this system, you should not talk about too much pleasure shit which has no relationship with the applying steps, like processing time. Be aware of this! This is not first time people warn you about this, you are just so na?ve, do you think you are punk or something. Maybe you think you are Canadian, but you are not, you have to know this ok?.

Well when the time comes, I hope I won´t land head over heels!:) Smooth landing and not getting ticketed on your drive into Canada... are worthy goals. And yes, obviously you don´t have insurance on the vehicle while you are driving in for the First time..................

You can get state farm insurance. It will work the same in Canada and the US.
However, you must bring beer or whisky! Officers accept moonshine, so no worries, we are not expensive!!!

dear anonymous... lighten up. if we cannot laugh and joke while we wait, what´s the point living. feel free to ignore Yijie´s comments if you like - mine too. I happen to know the spot he´s talking about and it really is a joke. I think he exagerates about Population 200. there is a gas station and a mail box store for all the Canadians that want a US post box.

forgot to say, I am in the same boat like you guys, I do need worry about timeline too, however, there are other stuff you need worry too. Can you live without beer pub, Tuesday movie night, garge sale and damn, no hockey this year!!damn it. I feel they are much important than CIC timeline.
