Subject: How to refund money if application is rejected
  Hi,
I applied for FSK Federal skill worker class in April 6 but according to new rule my form was rejected but my draft was changed into cash. They infor me that they will send my money within 8-12 weeks but now its already 14 week they did not send me money. I already send them fax regarding this matter however they did not reply me. What´s going on there? how they can take my money so easily. What is the best way to knock them? They do not have any responsibility to return my money? please suggest me how I can claim my money.

thanks
Adhikari

how long does it normally take for a letter to arrive from Canada to your country? What dated did they inform you that you were rejected?

there is no best way to KNOCK THEM. Be patient.

Usually, it takes 3-4 weeks for normal delivery from canada to my country. They informed my rejection on July 07. How long time I should be patient? Instead of me other person can change that cheque or not. If they really did not send my money what can I do?

From your post title, I thought you were asking how you can refund some money to CIC or some other agency; I was going to say just take out a cashier´s check and mail it bu tnow it turned out to be something else... Never mind!

So, 8-12 weeks from July is when? end of September plus 4 weeks for mail to your country.

my math says you are premature with your impatience.

I think, the meaning of "within" is not after 12 weeks if I am not wrong....
Ok as your suggesstion I can wait untill the end of this month, if not? what is the way? CIC have responsibility or not to know whether applicant got their money or not?

if you want to argue with CIC, go ahead. It will not make them work faster, you cheque will not come sooner, and to be blunt - there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Be grateful that under the new rules they return your money if your application is no good. Before they used to keep your money as punishment for wasting their time.

It is the government of Canada - you will get your money.

I think we have misunderstandings, neither I want to argue nor I can do it with them. Just, I want to get my money back whether it takes long time. I am worried about the misplace of draft because of normal delivery. Anyway, I will wait sometime more if not I will take your suggesstion again... thanks for your suggesstion

wait some more. You can try to contact them but the person you talk to will not be able to tell you anything that is reality. They will say it is 8-12 weeks. You might get lucky and with your file number they can tell you something but... can you force someone to go faster... no.

Ahikari,

If you are not going to be living at your address anymore then you should inform CIC. You can go online to Client info & change your address there or you can write to them or call.
