| Subject: How to get Singapore Police Clearance |
What can be done now that Singapore police force stopped issuing Police clearance/certificate of no criminal conviction? I´m about to submit my requirements and it is the only requirement I need but dont know what to do now... :( please help me....

Local Requests
The Certificate of No Criminal Conviction is issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Applicants should present a letter from the Canadian visa office and complete an application with a full set of fingerprints taken by a qualified fingerprint official or at the CNCC office at the time of application, photocopies of their current passport, documentary proof of a previous stay in Singapore for non-Singapore citizens, two passport-size photographs, and a bank draft in Singapore dollars for the applicable fees payable to the Head of Criminal Record CID.
Applicants residing outside Singapore may apply by mail to the same address at:

I´m a non-singaporian as well. I did not submit the requirement since i have confirmed thru a phone call thru authorities in Singapore that there´s no way for me to obtain it and embassies were informed about the issue. In other words I did not submit the requirement but i did make a letter stating the reason why...

I am also in need of Spore clearance, having lived there for a couple of years. Spore police emailed me that they have ceased issuing certificate of no crime conviction for non citizens. The US NVC will not honor the email stating CNCC is no longer issued but they will honor if that statement is in paper mailed and sent through post. I requested the same from s´pore police but its been 2 weeks now and they have not responded.. Please, anyone can help me? My immigration papers has been delayed because of this. Any similar experiences?

maybe you could call them directly to talk to any police officer in Singapore about yur request for the letter.. They will accomodate you. log on to the website and get their telephone number

i thought im the only one having the same issue.im also a non singapore citizen and for canadian immigration purpose of my permanent resident application i am to submit a police clearance but i know they singapore dont release anymore o this clearance and was told i can try make a statutory declaration and let it sign by any commissiner for oaths.since i cant call any of the number in the website for singapore consulate located in toronto who else can i go to signed it.
