Hello Mr. Roy

I´m in need in of advise very badly. I´m facing deportation, and was asked to appear at enforcement centre which I missed, (shame on me) and automatically it became deportation. I married my wife who is of different background as me, and have applied for sponsorship inside Canada. our relationship is genuine and i provided all kind of evidence, and CBSA visited our apartment recently. now I´m scared of my life. i don´t have a lawyer. I´m thinking of leaving Canada and applying outside because I´m tired of running around hiding and my wife is stressed out all the time when these people will show up and arrest me. i want to take responsibility and do things the right way. i just needed advise. I´m planning to leave very soon with my wife. Please help me. is there a chance i can never return here ? i have never filed for refugee or humanitarian before.
im ashamed of my actions and now i badly want to make things right. i just need a chance

Hire an authorized representative and go in with a ticket to leave. You have a warrant for your arrest (probably) that needs to e executed. The odds of detention are very low if you move quickly.

Highly likely an arc will be issued.

CBSA showed up at your appartment and what happened?

And yes, you failed to appear and of course an arrest warrant as been issued against you. If you get caught, you are going to be arrested for failing to appear and deported since there is a deportation order against you.

The odds of dentention are not as low as Roy may think. If CBSA was in your appartment looking for you, more than likely your case has been asigned to an officer that is trying to find you.

What you should do is leave Canada, apply for an ARC and get your wife to sponsor you from OUTSIDE of Canada.
If you get detained, the may keep you in the can for awhile until you get deported. Not a pretty thing to go through.

thank you so much for the reply. im willing to go back right away and apply outland. what is arc procedure and upto how long can me and my spouse be seperated. i have never applied for refuggee or any other claim, is that a positive point in my case for getting an arc. im very depressed with all this going on. i wish i used my brain and followed the rules 2 years ago, my life would have been less stressful. the thought of me never being able to live with my wife in canada is killing me.

If you need to visit Canada again, temporarily, permanently, or simply for a transit toward another country, you must submit an application for visa or permit (visitor, visa, study permit, work permit, permanent residence visa, etc., depending on the purpose of your visit to Canada.).

Your application for visa or permit will be assessed by an Immigration Officer. This Officer will determine if you also need an Authorization to return to Canada (ARC). If the Officer determines that you do need one, you will be contacted and you will receive specific instructions on how to submit a petition for ARC.
