Subject: Authorization to Return to Canada
Hello, my fiance got deported from Canada in May 2010 back to Mexcio, based on information that he had an open warrant for his arrest dating back to 2001. The charges were false and could only be dealt with in person but have now been cleared up and he was not convicted of any crime. He was legally in Canada with me since Feb of 2007 and we were applying for his PR card with me as his sponser (A Canadian Citizen). He is now back in Mexico and we would like to know how or where we apply for his authorization to return to canada and can we at the same time apply for a new PR application from outside Canada. I dont seem to be able to find any application form on the Canadian immigration website.
Thanks for you response.

One step at a time (in reply to: Authorization to Return to Canada)
If you need to visit Canada again, temporarily, permanently, or simply for a transit toward another country, you must submit an application for visa or permit (visitor, visa, study permit, work permit, permanent residence visa, etc., depending on the purpose of your visit to Canada.).

Your application for visa or permit will be assessed by an Immigration Officer. This Officer will determine if you also need an Authorization to return to Canada (ARC). If the Officer determines that you do need one, you will be contacted and you will receive specific instructions on how to submit a petition for ARC.

If you got excluded within the last one or two years or you got deported you will require an arc. They will ask you to tell them why you should get the ARC (family reunification) because........

Plus you should say sorry for breaking the Immiration rules.
