Sorry for intrussion but didn´t know where to turn...
I need to renew my passport. Does anyone know what is the process for renewing, how much does it cost and where to do this?

Hi Gina:
Depends on which counrty you are living in. Usually, you have to send your passport to the High Commision of your own country (within the country where you reside) alongwith the fee and they will do it for you.

If you are a Canadian and live abroad you should contact the Canadian embassy in your country. They will have information regarding costs, fees, requirements etc. If you aren´t sure where to go, do an internet search and type in : canadian passport renewal + the country in which you are living. I did this and found lots of information.
If you are a Canadian and LIVE in Canada you will have to complete a new application since the gov´t won´t just ´renew´ your passport. You can find information about this at the following link:

If you are Canadian & living in the US, go to the nearest Canadian Consulate. Call 411 info to ask for their # then call & get address.
