1) do you qualify to immigrate to Canada?
2) who suggested it takes 8 months? read again. More than 1 year.
3) 2.5 years to the US on a fiance visa? I hear otherwise

I hate to tell you but there is no NOC code on the list for a bachelor degree in French literature.

stop listening to your friends and don´t give $1 to a lawyer until you determine that you even remotely qualify. From my vantage point - you don´t. Your language skills are not enough.

start the paperwork to have your wife come to the US. At the same time, do some more research about Canadian immigration.

I am seeing 5-10 months for Quebec selection but 20% take longer than that. Be sure, they will be looking at your marriage to make sure it is real. I would plan on 10-15 months.

Remember, you will be giving up your green card if you get your residency to Canada. The US will not let you have both.

Your work experience is not in the field of your education and that work experience is not on the favourable list for Quebec selection. Do some more looking before you pay any money.

thats true (in reply to: moving from usa to canada)
i will try anyway the both ways first i will try with usa immigration to bring my wife here even i know that with a green card its hard especially i didnt have a good job along the three years here and at the same time i wil try with quebec selection even i know i will loose the money it s worth to try to go there
about my marriage i have all proof that is real workpaper pictures i know that my situation is hard i thought to start filling an application in wicht my wife will not go with me and when i get my pemrnnent resident card i apply for her to come with me but it goin to take a long time
and i still have two years and half to get my citizenship ere in usa
so i am very confused man i hope i can get a solution a short way to all that
thanks man for all your advice that helped me too much

Sharon,
To sponsor his wife to come to the US will take time. The waiting list, last time I checked, was 2.5 years.
Fiance visa is for citizens not green card holders.

Rachid, to qualify for Canada skilled worker program you need that have yours skills on the list approved by CIC. But you may get by using quebec nomination. So check their requirements instead.

any way i just wanna try any thing if i dont succeed i will wait i have no other options
