Subject: Regarding returning to Canada
I went to canada on 3rd August 2006. My wife and sone came to Canada in 9th November, 2008. Due to some family emergency I had to return to my native country on 3rd August, 2008. I sent my son in June, 2008. My PR is valid till August 2011, and My wife and son´s visa is valid till Nov. 2011. I want to return to Canada in Jan, 2011 or Feb, 2011. Once I be there I have to apply for the sponsorship of my daughter who was born in October, 2008 in my native country, once I get her visa I am planning to call my whole family there.

My Question is am eligible to go back to canada having a valid PR till August, 2011? and Also can I call my family some where in April 2011?

Do I need to produce any extra document except having a valid PR Card?

Will I get any legel issue?
Will my family get any issue while immigrating?

I am slightly confused by an agent who guided me that I should have to have Returning Residence Visa. Is it relly requred in my case ?

I would be thankful to you If I can get reply for this queries.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanking you

Om Soni

how can your child be born overseas when your wife is in Canada or am I reading things incorrectly?

You better check that you have met residency requirements and you will need to show employment before you sponsor your family.

Re (in reply to: Regarding returning to Canada)
Thanks Sharon for taking interest in the matter and replying soon. My wife gave birth to the baby girl in Octoner 2008 in my native country after we returned from Canada.

I enquired regarding her PR to the embassy. They replied that one of the parent has to be there in Canada and he file her sponsorship.

As I mentioned in my last post, I am planning to be back to Canada. In such situation do I need to obtain any Returning Residency document or I can travel on my Valid Permanent Visa and return to Canada? Can I simply buy a ticket and return back to Canada or there will be anything document that I have to obtain and submit them?

I Hope this time I am able to make query more clear to you. I wish I could go back with no issue.

I will be waiting for your reply.

Once again I am thankful to you for replying me and I highly appreciate you.

Thanks
Om Soni

you can buy your plane ticket and return.

However, you need to be residing in Canada to process your sponsorship applications and I believe your wife needs to be too.

Regarding Temporary Resident Visa (in reply to: Regarding returning to Canada)
Thaks Sharon

Sorry to respond you late as there was some mishappening in my family. My Granda passed away.

I have one question. How about if I apply for Temporary Resident Visa for my Daughter? In such case I can bring my daughter with me. Where and how can I apply for TRV? What is the basic requirement for that?

Thanks again.

Hi Sharon

I have one more question. Can I apply for visitor visa for my daughter and take her alongwith me and after she comes there can I process her PR from being there in Canada so she need not to return to India. Is this possible?

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks
OM
