Subject: Comapny overseas
  Hello All,
A PR Card holder has a Company in Canada, and he recently established a Company back in his original home country. The new Company is fully owned by his Canadian Company. The Canadian Company imports goods from the company at back home, and the PR holder occasionally travel to his original country to look after the business as he is the only one in charge for both companies.
Question: Is it true that his travel periods outside Canada negatively affects his accumulation of number of days (730) required for continuation of validity of his PR status/profile during his 5 years period, and / or does a trip outside the country negatively affects the Citizenship requirement of 1095 days within his 5 years period.
Thanks.
K. L.

We already answered your question in a previous post, stop trying to find a loop hole around the whole thing.

Is this individual paying taxes in both countries?
If he is working for a Canadian company that pays taxes in both countries and he is paying his taxes, which he will have to demostrate with his T4s then he may claim that he is working for a Canadian company abroad, that will help him with his residency requirements If not... forget it.

Regarding his citizenship requirement this is how it goes: in order to apply for citizenship this person has to have a minimum of 1095 days in a four year period.

Don´t get upset. It is not worth it.

You have two choices:

One:
Read my answer, try to make sense of it and apply it to your current situation if it fits. I am not going to care about your feelings and I am going to tell you why.

Although I am a very sensitive and sweet person in real life, the truth is that the law has NO feelings, it is raw and direct.

Two:
If you really really want to read something pretty, buy yourself a hallmark card and get your mommy to sign it.

Your a very sensitive and sweet person I would of never known if you had not told me.

Read the act/regulations and the manuals regarding residency the business your using must be designed to make a profit.

DocD,
Your latest feedback proved to me, and other members of the forum, that you are a lousy person who enjoys being knowledgeable while others are not. Your dirty words mentioning mommy simply indicate your unfortunate sick personality and ability to act in a sick yet lousy manner towards others. I have nothing to tell some lousy person such as you, but I will have to advise you to soonest possible find someone who can help you recover from that indecent profile. Meanwhile, go to the nearest Sears store earliest possible and buy yourself dairy milk big chocolate bar... but do not eat it Mr. sick; just put it straight forward the other way round, it will hurt you a bit.. but you definitely deserve it and you will hopefully get relaxed afterwards Mr. sick!
