Subject: Offering sponsorship for 20,000 dollares
Hi.:
I am looking to get back to my country with some money in my pocket as the fucking system has made me poor. Excesive taxation, cost of living, poorly paid salaries. I did not come for this to a " 1st World Country".
If you are so desperate to come. I am desperate to leave.

Aaah... the revelations! Vittorio don´t tell me you had no clue before you landed in the big mess! I do empathize with your predicament but your vast displeasure with the system is unlikely to attract anybody who has half the smarts! Obviously it is a shitty system so why do you think they will fall for it? Wait till next year... the taxes are going up across the board (including HST)... It will get a lot worse! As the national debt and deficit sky-rocket in the coming years.

On a 2nd note, sorry for the double post, I have no sympathy for anyone moving here from Europe and then getting surprised! Canada is meant for ONLY 3rd world folks.... they couldn´t lose much!

Let us call for a fair and practiacl review of the law, rules and regulations. We, as Canadian Citizins need to call for a wise mind in the federal government to see why many leave the country during their first 5 years period. Simply it is the financial stand that pushs them out at no mercy. the 730 days duration for keeping a valid PR status is valid no longer, and the 1095 days in last 4 years has become a joke. new immigrants might need to pay less tax, let us say 50%, during their 1st period, and permanent job would need to be found even in remote areas, but let them feel security. Law needs to change, immigrants are our new blood, and world has totally changed during the last three years, and will continue to be tough and possibly tougher if we are not flixable and enough supporting the fresh commers to help the country forward.
Let us all voice it loudly... change the law, allow more immigrants and leave them to balance their presence inside and outside the country subject to transfer of certian minmum portion of their income to the canadian economy. This money will help all of us to keep faith, grow and better build a solid ground for our children to continue.

Not to worry! Laws have been changing: they are getting tougher... to get in and stay in as well. People need a realistic view of the country they are moving to, unless you are being chased out of your country or you are absolutely destitute back home. Mostly, it is the greedy immigrants to forsake their current country in hopes of find El Dorado in Canada that get disappointed. I would say DO NOT FRET about these... Since they were taking an adventure (and a gamble) by dumping their lifestyle (to move ahead quick)... they should not expect success in every case; when I go to casino, I have some chances of winning and some chances of losing!

Kim Lee, interesting how your grammar suddenly improves.

You are dreaming in technicolour if you think immigrants are going to get a tax break and that the rules will be relaxed for residency. We have people waiting for 10 years to get into Canada - why would the government want to make it easier?

Why do you think it should be easier for immigrant than the people who already live here? That is a guaranteed way to have the doors shut completely.

Doors completely shut? (in reply to: Offering sponsorship for 20,000 dollares)
Sharon you are as arrogant aand stupid as always!
First of all check your own spealling,
Second. Why if this is such a great country, 75 per cent of its immigrants end up going back to their countries?
Why we just have 30 million people living here?
You need immigration to keep this sinking boat afloat.

Again
Law needs to change for immigrants intrests. Immigrants normally face difficult conditions when they arrive. They run short of money soon after they arrive (normally within less than 6 - 8 months). They usually are not able to find a permanent and suitable job. They might still have a valid average job at their oroginal back home, but they have to surrender it to maintain this lousy 730 days requirement and the funny 1095 days errequirements. They mostly run away from the country immediately once they obtain the Citizinship and go back home for a better job and easier life condition than they had to face in Canada. Is this what we want from our system...
Immigrants need to enjoy better conditions and terms, and they need to have the full right to stay in a relaxed mode subject to cewrtian financial and legal terms that should eventually secure our country´s intrests, those terms MUST NOT force the immigrants to physically stay in Canada for 730 days in his/her first 5 years duration to maintain valid PR status, nor to continue for 1095 days to apply for Citizinship. Let us see how the world has changed and how it is going to be further change, and set ble flixa and fair laws & regulation that can ultimately ensure our aim of having immigrants are hopefully fulfiled, and not just force our new comers to find loop holes / establsh a not-true condition to (match) silly requirement that do not help nr the immigrants nor the beloved Canada.
