I am currently working in Canada through an Intra-Company Transfer program.I would like to invite my spouse to Canada to work on an open work permit. My Intra-Company Transfer is only valid till Dec 2011. If my spouse gets a job in Canada before Dec,2011, would he be able to get his independant work permit ? And not be dependant on my work permit anymore ? I would like to give up my job by Dec 2011, and become his dependant if this is possible.Please advice.

It is possible if your spouse´s future employer will get LMO.
