-my common-law husband has a charitable job offer from a non-profit religious society in Canada, he is American
-he has an exclusion order for a year
-can he apply for a temporary ARC and then come in on a work permit?
-what are the chances of receiving a temp. ARC? I heard not good especially if he is applying for a PR
any comments on this...seems ARCs were routine but as of late they are not so...

(in reply to: Religious Worker offer but have Excluson Order) exclusion order trumps everything.

judgments not needed (in reply to: Religious Worker offer but have Excluson Order) The exclusion order was for a "mistake," bad advice and other factors, not a ´sin´ in a Christian sense you speak of. There were many factors surrounding the exclusion order which have not been discussed here. He barely overstayed and only because of my health issues and more I do not want to share at this point. I do not need the judgments. We are on the forum for support.

(in reply to: Religious Worker offer but have Excluson Order) whatever the reason - your partner broke the rules. Broken a little or broken a lot does not really matter. All that matters is that he has been handed an exclusion order that is going to make any attempt at a TRV impossible.
