Hi,
I have applied for canadian immigration under skilled worker class on Oct 25th 2004 but havent received the file number yet.I am really worried about that. I checked with the bank and the application fees has also been cashed.Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get the file number.

if you applied at buffalo send them out a letter saying that you haven´t received your file number yet. There is a possibility it got lost in the mail.

Don?t worry ..people who applied in sept are getting it.You will get it next month.Nowdays it is taking 3-4 months for the AOR to come.Just check with your bank about status of your cheque or draft that you sent to CIC
