| Subject: How long would security check be proccess? |

Hi I´m Karen. I am a nanny in Manitoba.I´ve been here for almost 5years now. I had my papers process last September 2008 for the permanent residence and the processing of papers of my family to come here. But after the long process of waiting to get things done, my medical got expired that´s why I have to redo it and so I did. Now, when everything is done and my family´s passport have been submitted to the Canadian Embassy in the Philippines, the Immigration Officer told me that my Security check got expired. It is almost 5months now since they requested for the passport of my family and their medical examination is about to get expired.
My question are:
1.) I just want to ask guys if you do have any idea how long would it take to have the security check be done?
2.) Do you think my family needs to redo their medical in the Philippines since it is about to get expired in 10days and we are not getting any advice from the immigration office?
3.) Lastly, I would like to ask if you have any idea how long still do I have to wait to get my Permanent Landing/ Residence?
