Hi Sharon,
I went to canada on 3rd August 2006. My wife and sone came to Canada in 9th November, 2008. Due to some family emergency I had to return to my native country on 3rd August, 2008. I sent my son in June, 2008. My PR is valid till August 2011, and My wife and sonīs visa is valid till Nov. 2011.
I want to return to Canada in Jan, 2011 or Feb, 2011. Once I be there I have to apply for the sponsorship of my daughter who was born in October, 2008 in my native country after returning from Canada. Once I get her visa I am planning to call my whole family there.
My question is is it possible to apply for visitor visa for my daughter so that she can acompany my wife and son to Canada. Once she is there,I can proecess her PR so that becomes easy for me to get her PR and do not need to take her back to my home country. Is it possible?
Can I get her Visitor Visa?
I would be thankful to you If I can get reply for this queries.

There are two things that you have to understand.
1- Your PR status is not valid til August 2011. What is valid til August 20111 is your PR CARD. You still have to meet RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT OF the 2 year in a 5 year period to maintain your PR status. So far it seems that you are barely making it, but don´t get these two concepts mixed up.
2- No, you won´t get a visitor´s visa for your daughter. That is a shot in the dark, there is nothing in the law that prevents you from applying but the chances are slim to none.
You have to come to Canada, sponsor your daughter to come as an immigrant instead of a visitor.

I believe you have miscalculation in the no. of days calculation.
Here is the calculation of days for me,my wife and son.

I wish that makes things more clear to understand. Now can you please let me know wheter I am eligible to re-enter or not. And When can my wife and son can come at the most?
And Can i apply for visitor visa so that my daughter can acoompny them and then I can apply for her PR after she reaches to Canada.
Can you please guide me what is the best and feasible solution to me? I am as such planning to go to Canada in January 2011.
