Subject: Extra PR Card Photos to avoid re-takes
Need advice and need to know the procedure on “photo” to be used for PR Card upon 1st landing.

Should we bring a new set of photos for all members in case if our early provided photos are considered old or not meet the criteria correctly?

Or in the airport somehow new photos could be arranged supported by immigration office/officer?

In fact when I received our Visa and COPR, I also got 3 photos of each family members in a little plastic pouch written "new photo" on it (without date) –

What is use of these photos?

I want avoid any kind of photo problem and thereby retake issue as I will return back before receiving the PR Card.

Thanks in advance for your suggestion.

Nothing to worry about.
Your CORP has a picture on it already.

CBSA has a camera in the secondary inspection where they will take a picture if needed.

I had photo with different specification on the COPR. I knew it, told the CBSA officer and tried to hand the one with correct specifications, but she said the one on COPR is perfect and correct. Now, the photo resubmission, will cost more than 800 dollar for one pic.

As DocD told there are cameras, but I read in few places that even the pics taken by the CBSA cameras were not fit and photo retake was asked (I read that in British Expat Forum, you can search it there again if you need proof of what I read). Its torture for who suffers but probably a "fun" for the people involved in one of the different stages because of their negligency (from COPR issuance and CBSA in border to Card procssing unit). If your COPR has the correct one then chances of having no problem is high. If you have a large family one or few can go into random selection for verification, the word what they say and do time to time.
