Subject: Medical abnormality
  Hello all

I had my medicals done last week. The doctor who did my medical found traces of blood in my urine. So he send the urine for lab test because it can only be seen with a microscope. There was no bacteria or infection found in my Urine, just some traces of blood.

My DMP told me to go for Ultrasound for the root cause. If any thing serious, he told me that I have to go see a Urologist. I am really worried this. Is this normal?? Will this effect my medicals in one way or the other?? Will this effects my CEC case??

Would this be creating a problem for me in medical????
Does anyone have similar situation and went through medical examination successfully????

Would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Fist of all, hematuria is usually diagnosed as normal after any serious causes have been ruled out. Many people have benign microscopic blood in the urine based on genetics or other factors. Frequently, it´s caused by extreme exercise or similar over-exertion. Often the cause is unknown and considered benign. But it should be checked out with a physician, where you´ll likely need to undergo a diagnostic cystoscopy and a kidney CT scan to eliminate any serious issues.

As far as Canadian immigration, once your doctor has ruled out any serious causes, it should have very little effect impact on your medicals and subsequent immigration approval.

Hang in there - it´s often fairly normal.
