Buffalo web site says application fee is US$ 465 which comes to much more than Candian $550. Did any one take a cashier´s check in Candian $ from US. OR is US $465 the only way.
please advise ..

Depends where you apply. If you are applying in the U.S the local consulate will encash in local currency. What you are doing is nickel and dime math dude!!
See the big picture - a country worth millions waiting for you; $465 is but penny change for that!!

if you live in U.S, just pay whatever it required for U.S dollars.
I live in Canada, it´s easy for me to get Canadian dollars money order, therefore, pay in Canadian 550

Before December 1, 2004 CIC was asking for 400 US bucks as an equivalent of 550 Canadian dollars. Inflation...
