Subject: How can I speed up my visa process
Iam a PR status holder and had sponsored my wife in India on October 2009.On May 29th 2009,we got a rejection letter from CHC,New Delhi .I filed an appeal and won the hearing in ADR on November 10, 2010.This
is the first marriage for both of us and the long separation due to
the process delay is painful for us.I have tried everything including
MP´s query but can´t seem to do anything to speed up the delay at CHC,New Delhi. Can somebody enlighten me on ways by which I could speed
up the process?

vikas go there and see her. it will take time because after you won the appeal , CIC will spend the whole time line.

was the denial because of a badly prepared application or because of more significant reasons. There may be value in withdrawing the appeal and starting over.

You guys have been waiting for quite a long time and more waiting time is coming up. If I were you and under the condition you have a Canadian citizenship, I´d move to my spouse. The whole process might take another 6 - 18 months...

Apologies, I just saw that your status is PR. Of course, that doesn´t work what I wrote. So forget my post....

pay to CAIPS for your file status purpose, I have heard it might help. I am not sure though. Its 30$ per file and they will send you what exactly the file status is and where is it lying.

Other than that as someone has suggested, go and see her if you can. Or just wait and pray.

Best luck,
Nisha

Well I have the same situation. I am from Palestinian background & my wife´s visa is been delayed in Canadian embassy in Beirut, because the officer - who´s Lebanese - doesn´t like our background. Though the visa is been approved on time without delay in Canada & the medical test is been done & she´s only waiting for visa stamping.
