The issue here is why was not the CBSA Officer who released the photo of this man´s disguise arrested for endangering his life. if China can find the people who assisted the man with fleeing China why can not Canada find the person that released condifidential information as to how he was found eligible to make a refugee claim.

SO MUCH FOR A PUBLICATION BAN!

HONG KONG—Hong Kong immigration officials have arrested eight people suspected of helping a Chinese passenger sneak into Canada disguised as an old man.

Elly Au Yeung, an information officer for the Hong Kong Immigration Department, said on Monday that immigration officers made the arrests over the weekend.

She said a current member of the Hong Kong International Airport ground staff and two former employees were among the arrested suspects.

The man sought asylum after arriving in Vancouver on an Air Canada flight on Oct. 29.

He is suspected of travelling to Hong Kong with genuine travel documents, then swapping them for fake papers and donning his disguise before boarding the flight to Canada.

The man’s identity is shielded by a publication ban.

How did CBSA put his life in danger? Could you give me a link where I can see his face or know details about him or his family?

Leaking Internal Memo´s
http://www.citytv.com/toronto/citynews/news/national/article/99341--detention-hearing-monday-for-masked-refugee-claimant

The case made headlines around the world after an internal Canada Border Services Agency bulletin and several photographs of the man were leaked to the U.S.-based news network CNN. That leak prompted the man´s lawyer to accuse Canadian officials of "playing dirty" and potentially putting the man in danger. CBSA has since launched an investigation into who distributed the document.

I know that, but I really really want to see the end result of the internal investigation.

No comments from my end on this.
