Subject: Work Experience Assessment
  Hi

I am basically an Indian Nationality and working in Saudi Arabia in Contract Visa.

I am a Computer Network Engineer. I started my work 7 years back (1996) after doing a computer certificate course (CNE- Certified Novell Engineer & MCSE Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Private Institute?s (Aptech Education) Diploma Certificate in Computer Networking). At that time I was not having a Recognized Degree Certificate. Just I had a DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Government, Three years Diploma). I started my Computer Network Engineer job and I was keep on working.

Then three years back I thought to have a Degree in Computers, which may help in Immigration to Canada. So I did an M.Tech. I.T. (Information Technology) from University of Technology and Science, from India. That University is recognized by Ministry of Human Resource in India, but it is still not listed in UGC (University Grand Commission) in India, because this University is newly started I just completed that one month back.

Now I want to conform two things.

1. How can I make sure is this University Degree is valid in Canadian Immigration?

2. About my Experience, I have total of 8 years of Experience in Computer Network Engineer field. But I have just (one month back) completed my Degree. So they (Canadian Immigration Council) will calculate the experience after completing the Degree?

So which primary education I should use? My M.Tech IT or my private certificate course?

Kindly give me correct solution for these doubts.

You have to show your pre maters diploma and certifications along with M.Tech degree. You will get full credit for your pre M.Tech work experience. Recognition by UGC doesn´t matter as long as it?s registered with Min of HR of India. UGC just gives grants for research purposes to Doctorate level candidates and decides pay scale for professors. With this kind of work experience and master´s degree you will score sufficient points to qualify for immigration. Yes, you still need to take IELTS exam as ur degrees are not from native English speaking nations. Hope this helps.

I hope you think in syntax even if your writing is discordant. IELTS is definitely required. It is still a puzzle how you got into a Master´s program without a ligitimate bachelor´s degree!
