Hello,
I have an interview at the end oF March. One of the things required at the time of the interview is proof of funds. The first time I send them a bank statement. My question is: Should I bring in an updated (current) bank statement this time as well or should I convert the money into a cashier check or something?

I think you need only bank statements. No checks or anything because it is many months away before you even know if they accepted you or not. I think if you have statements for a few months, like for the last three months or such, take them all... so they know this money was sitting in the bank for use whem you get landing permit. :)

I thought that they would tell you after the interview if you had received sufficient point or not. Let´s suppose that the interview goes well; aproximately how long after that would they ask for your passport? Also, is it advised to pay the ROLF at the time of the interview?
The reason I ask is that on the interview letter they said to bring your passport with you and to make sure that it is valid for 6 months.

you are right. They probably will tell ya if you are accepted or not. Then you can immediately pay the Landing Fee (if you did not pay yet) and if they also like to stamp visa, you might as well get that too. But the actual issue of funds on hand comes into play when you LAND. They may ask you SHOW THE MONEY when you enter Canada... You are only going to see the Embassy for interview... In any case, I am only saying what I will do in your shoes... I could be wrong (but I think I am always right!).

I applied in Buffalo, on August 2003
I am doing my medicals this saturday in detroit (My interview is in march 31 2005
