Hi,
I have a question in regards to my parents PR renewal. My parents and I immigrated to Canada in 2005 Spt. but they left after a month. Their intention was to return to Canada to complete residency requirement but my grand parents got sick and they had to take care of them (they both passed away recently). Their PR cards expired Sept. 2010. now they want to return as residents but their PR has expired.
My question is there a way to renew their residency in such circumstances (they had to stay back last three years of their residency requirement purely to take care of my grand parents)? OR do I have to apply for their PR from scratch again since I have gained my Canadian citizenship.
Thanks for your help!

(in reply to: parents PR renewal) Sorry for your loss and Sorry to inform you that your parent have lost their PR status, now if they want to come here, you have to start from SCRATCH and apply to CPC-M office to sponsor them.
Best luck,
Nisha
